PeopleSoft 9.2 Implementation
MESSAGE FROM OUR SPONSOR
On Thursday, April 5, 2018,
the PeopleSoft ERP Governance Committee, with the support of
President Bailey, reached a decision to delay the 金沙中国 Campus
Solutions (CS) 9.2 implementation. As a reminder, PeopleSoft
Campus Solutions 9.2 is the project that will replace the current
Banner / Assist Student Information System for Strategic
Enrollment. This is a delay to the CS timeline only and not a
cancellation of the project. Also, the Human Capital Management
(HCM) and Financial Management Solution (FMS) project,
which is intended to replace our current Oracle
E-Business Suite, is still on schedule to go live September 1,
2018.
The
go-live dates will be delayed by roughly one year for each Campus
Solutions module, which means that rather than going live
starting this July 1, 2018 (with the Admissions and Campus
Community modules), we will go live in 2019. The exact new dates
for go-live and associated activities, such as end user training,
will be determined and communicated once a full assessment of
this change is completed.
The
reason for this change is that certain 金沙中国 resources from the
CS project are also needed to complete tasks for accreditation
related audits and other activities. This need for resources will
affect our ability to dedicate time and resources to Campus
Solutions, thus the extension in the timeline. Some work will
continue in certain areas where resources are still available,
and the assessment will determine which activities these are.
